Doug Silverstein


Doug is the principal of Cypress Consulting and maintains a 20 year record of success in technology and finance. Since 1996, he has driven revenue through and built sales and marketing programs for reseller and technology partners in multiple solution areas. Doug’s past employers and clients include Cisco, Dimension Data, Microsoft, Mirantis, Nuance, Oracle, Remedy, and SAP. 

Doug has a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to technology sales and marketing, he spent five years in the finance industry with Mellon Capital Management and Dresdner RCM Global Investors as a security analyst and portfolio manager for institutional investors. Doug has a Charter Financial Analyst certification from the C.F.A. Institute, and has worked in U.S., Europe and Asia.


Gene Knauer


Gene has worked as a marketing communications writer and technology analyst for a broad clientele of product and service companies since 1987. His science and technology marketing communications experience spans data analytics, data centers, eLearning, ERP, GIS, nanotechnology, programmable networks, public and private cloud, technology consulting services, unified communications, web analytics, and more.

Ed Morgan


Ed has worked as a marketing writer and video producer for over 20 years with broad expertise in many B2B technologies. After receiving physics and computer science degrees, and a successful career in engineering, Ed turned to technical writing and then marketing communications. At NAVAJO Company, Ed was the agency’s top content developer and manager of four senior copywriters. In November 2009, Ed launched Morgan & Associates to offer services in marketing writing and video production.
Ed focuses on producing impactful and compelling assets for a wide range of marketing needs including outbound marketing, customer reference, and sales enablement. He has produced almost 100 marketing videos for Cisco, Juniper, NetSuite and others, and volumes of customer case studies, collateral, and technical white papers.
